Everytime i put my memory card into my blackberry it says that the memory card contains erros, and i can not use it. how do i fix this?

To do that, you need a card reader. Insert your memory card into a card reader, then:

Insert the card reader into your computer's empty USB slot.

Go to "computer" or "my computer".

Right click on the drive of your card reader and choose properties.

Click the "Tools" tab then click "Check now"

Check "Automatically fix errors" and "Scan for and attempt to recover bad sectors"

Click "start" and wait for it to finish.

That should fix the errors. If it doesn't, format your memory card.

Put the SanDisk into your SideKick phone, and navigate through the menu-items to "format" the device, i.e., delete all pictures, and return to "factory-shipped" condition. Then, put it into your B.B., and repeat the "format" process, to be 100% "factory-setttings".

if this card working on yours phone then this problem related with window operating system if card have problem with phone then this is relsted with card , formatt this card with phone and restore it by system restore s/w.

Blackberrys have IEP files contained on them, If when your friend put the card into his BB one of these went across then the card wil have to be formated from the blackberry to work on yours

use the computer to save what u have on it and then format the card and then u can copy everything back to the card and see if it will work then

back up first all of your files.then format your media card using your Blackberry,not your PC.If it is still same problem after formatting,try to replace another media card and check if other media is working in your phone.lastly,if still not working its already a hardware problem,its a memory card IC,not working anymore,you must replace it.

your best bet is to format the media card. just insert it into a computer and then right click the drive that is assigned to it and format it. be forewarned that this will erase all of the data on your card!

regarding your problem, i think you must try to reformat your card using your new phone (blackberry bold 9000) for you to be able to use that card in the said phone.
