Question about Kodak W730 PULSE Digital Frame
The frame picks up my wifi signal after scanning but i still cant connect to the kodak content servers/
SOURCE: Kodak EasyShare software won't connect to digital photo frame
I had some problems with wireless connectivity with the Ex1011. It turned out to be the connection was breaking when I used WPA security. When I went to WEP it worked fine. My suspicion is that the router was changing the Key over time and the frame wasn't following it. So it would work for a while then stop. But also had trouble even seeing it at times. Anyway, worth a shot. You might try turning off security on the router altogether to see if it makes a difference. Good luck.

SOURCE: Please help -
I don't have it fixed yet but think I am in the process. When I installed the firmware, it didn't install properly which I didn't realize. I have now uninstalled it and reinstalled. It should work now - fingers crossed. Thank you for taking the time to look into this for me. M.K.

SOURCE: Pictures don't fill screen on Kodak M820 Digital picture frame
Because a digital photo frame's display ratio doesn't always match the original picture ratio, some pictures cannot be displayed in a satisfactory manner. For example they may be rendered too small, with black borders, or they may be automatically zoomed-in and randomly cropped.
With a computer, this issue can be resolved by using generic photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop, or specialized software like DPF Manager, Digital Frame Master or FrameSize, to properly crop the pictures before transferring them to the digital frame. Without a computer, there is no other option but manually deleting incompatible pictures by using frame's built-in functions.
Also, check the settings and try the "Fit to Screen" but, with some models the width of each landscape image is stretched to
achieve an aspect ratio of 16:9, which results in noticeable distortion.

SOURCE: Digital Frame Kodak EX1011 turn off after few seconde
This seems to be a known problem with Kodak digital frames. I have one and had this problem, hence me searching the net and finding this site.
Anyway, I think I solved my problem when I changed the picture transitions from random to just left swipe. It hasn't turned off since unless it's on the off schedule. I noticed it not showing anything but then I heard audio on one of the videos I had in the USB drive. This meant that it's still on but it's just not showing anything. Changing the transition to just left swipe kept it on. My guess is that some fade to/from black is messed up and kept the screen black. I've had this frame for years so maybe it's just due to age.
