Hello there.
From the manual I got

To Stop Self-Clean any time:
Press UPPER OFF, LOWER OFF or OFF/CANCEL. If the oven
temperature is too high, the door will remain locked. It will not
unlock until the oven cools

Hope it helps/

I went to clean my oven and it locked I pressed cancel the door opened but my oven doesn't work when I hit bake locked signal comes up what do I do

Your oven got locked by a hook that gets initiated when the "Clean" button\option is depressed. Even though you hit cancel and the door opened, it is possible the hook didn't completely recluse back into it's housing.

Might I suggest trying to hit clean and let it take it's course, and try to verify the unit DOES heat up during the cleaning process? This may be the only option you have without calling out for a service call.

I really hope this helps.

No manual. Hit the clean button and 15 minutes it caught on fire. Hit the cancel

It probably caught fire because to much crud was built up inside probably from not cleaning often enough. I assume there were not flames but just a lot of smoke, try again but watch it carefully. Some ovens are damaged by oven cleaner so I would get a manual first to be sure using that would be OM.

Accidentally hit clean button on a Frigidaire Gallery Oven. Hit Cancel button. Oven door won't open.

I appreciate your post, C Maury!
From my understanding your hit the clean button on your Frigidaire wall oven and now the door will not open. I would hold down the cancel button for at least ten seconds, this should unlock the door. If that does not help I would recommend disconnecting power from your wall oven by flipping the household circuit breaker for ten minutes. I hope this information was helpful to some degree. -Matt

After selfcleaning tried to bake put when you push the bake button it says to unlock door, however door is already unlocked and open

During self clean the oven controller locks the door to ensure one does not accidentally open the door and get insured due to high temperature. The door lock mechanism is unlocked once the temperature comes to normal when self clean is complete. In your case the controller is still sensing high temperature but the door lock mechanism has been released. This could mean the controller is detecting incorrect signal. Try to turn the mains power to oven off and back on. If this does not make a difference then you need to check the temperature sensor or worst the controller needs to be checked.
As I do not have the model number of the oven it is hard to give further diagnostic information.

Are you getting any codes? Sounds like one of your touchpad buttons is stuck. CAUTION: Turn power off to oven at circuit breaker.  I would take the control panel off disconnect the ribbon from the touchpad and take a pencil eraser and clean the contacts. Reconnect ribbon connector back together. If this does not help write back..

Personal opinion. Do not mess with settings on a gas stove. Call a gas oven repair tech and have them come out and fix it. That way if it happens again you have someone to call

F9 code

I hit the same F9 problem when trying to self-clean, except that the door was locked OPEN.

After much trial and error, I found the following fix: 1. Switch circuit breaker off. 2. Switch circuit breaker on. 3. Press Bake button. 4 Press the small/inside button which indicates that the oven door is closed.

The lock mechanism opened and the oven now works fine.
