average American family spends nearly $1,500 a year on electricity costs from fossil fuel sources. That means installing a solar panel system that can cover 100% of your needs would result in over $100 in potential savings every month.
Hello Phil, what is the size of your solar panel? This pump draws 17 watts so, your panel must be 17 watts or greater. Remember a solar panel only puts out full power when in direct sunlight and facing the sun directly. You can read 21 volts but your amperage may not be full and this is why your pump is not running, not enough amps. I would recommend a minimum of a 20 watt panel.
