How do I urn off the water filter light? Maytag msd2756ge

For my Maytag Refrigerator Model # MSD 2756 GE, I had to hold the "Light" & "Lock/Unlock" buttons simultaneously until the "Change Filter" light went off instead of the "Water" & "Lock/Unlock" buttons.

check the ptc overload on the compressor it may be bad or the temperature control can be bad also,you can jump the 2 wires to this control and see if the unit starts,then if so replace the control

SOURCE: Maytag MSD2756GE was working fine however we moved and once arriving it wouldn't turn on. Lights are on but the motor does not run.

THE TIMER MAY BE IN DEFROST MODE PLUG IT IN AND AFTER ABOUT HALF AN HOUR TO ONE HOUR IT SHOULD TURN ON.
