Take both ends and double the cord and roll on the spindle in the opposite direction so when you release the cord automatically by turning the release knob at the bottom ,it would release the cord.

Rice cooker retractable cord

Either go to the manufacturers web site and locate the particular model of your rice cooker- check for a schematic and/or parts list. Or call them and ask if they have replacement parts for the particular model of the rice cooker you own.

Uncut grass in center & higher grass cut on right.

Hi, this may sound obvious but make sure the new blade is the same type as the old one and make sure it is not fitted upside down. Spin the blades and make sure the tips are level with each other, this will tell you if the deck is straight where the blade spindles mount. Regards Phil.

My Craftsman lawn mower starter cord doesn't retract after mower starts.

I have had this situation before on a lawnmower. I didn't have a craftsman, but is probably the same issue. Basically, the spring that recoils the cord back in either broke or came unwound. When the mower is not running, the cogs on the pull chord keeps the cord from coming out. When the mower is running, the spring is not wound enough to hold the chord in and thus releases or doesn't hold it in.
Try pulling the pull chord assembly off and rewind the spring.

How to replace electrical cord on Dyson ball vacuum cleaner. Our puppy chewed it.

Depending on where it has been chewed, you may not need to replace the whole of your cord. Ask your local electrical supplier, or possibly somewhere like B & Q, if they have an 'inline' plug and socket to repair your existing cord.this would resemble the type of plug and socket used to connectd the power chord to a lawnmower, except you would not be buying the sealed type. Then you could simply cut out the chewed part of your ccord, and fit the two new ends, one the plug and the other the socket. It is no more difficlt than fitting a new domestic 13 amp plug on a cable. It is also a safe but much cheaper solution, so you should save money too.

I need a new chord .

The cord is item #26 in this parts diagram. You can order it from Kitchenaid, or you can cut the old plug off the end and put on a new plug.

Pull the plug from the wall outlet. Remove the mixer's end cap and you will see the wire coming into the mixer thru a strain relief bushing. Push it in and then the cord will be easy to remove.

I need to replace cut electric chord on saw 6390-20

I would go to Milwaukeetool.com and download a breakdown for this tool. But all you have to do is remove the screws holding the handle assembly to expose the switch area and cord. I think they are a T-20 Torx, after removing the half make a note of the wiring before removing the old cord. trim the leads using the old cord as a guide and reinstall. what you want to do is when you reinstall the screws back them until you feel the first thread so you don't rethread it. These are thread forming screws and after a time they will strip out the threads. It is really quite simple

I have a MTD Pro riding lawn mower that I

the only way to fix it is fit the right blades
they have fitted the wrong blade's to it,,,
the blades should overlap when cutting the grass they cannot crash into each other as there are (timed up) not to do that the new blades they fitted are to short so you have no over lap on the gutters that leaves a strip of grass left uncut between the blades,,
call them out to put this stupid mistake right,,,

Power cord not working

Try unpluggin the power cord and check with battery.
Check whether battery is charging with the power chord on.
Try with a different wall socket.
If this does not help.
Try with a different power chord of the same kind and check whether it works.
If yes, the power chord is the ussue. Best would be to replace it.
else
Try your power chord in a laptop similar kind and check whether the other laptop works fine.
Try juggling the power cord and check whether it gives supply. If yes then check for AC adapter for any damages or cuts. If any is found the contact manufacturer for replacement.
else Main board is the issue.
But before this I would request you to go to the website and check for Updated BIOS and updates for chipset driver.
If any is available then download and install.
Check with your AC adapter if it works, Good, else I would request you to contact the manufacturer for a Main board issue.
They would replace the main board if under warranty.

Power chord must must moved continually to show charge

Yes, this is common, if the power cord at the connector is flexed continually then the metal fibres in the cord will break due to metal fatigue.
You can cut off the connector away from the break and fit a new connector on the cord, make sure the the wires are soldered correctly to provide the correct polarity at the connector.
The problem could be at the laptop where the connector plugs into the laptop's power socket. It could have a dry solder joint or the socket is faulty. This requires dismantling to repair.
The HP warranty would cover the normal warranty period and would not extended for worn parts.
