The "lock" function is nice if you have kids who like to push buttons. It disables the microwave oven to prevent it from running unnecessarily, To disable the lock feature push the "STOP-CLEAR" button. Then press and hold the "START" button until 'locked' is no longer shown on the display panel. To re-lock it, do the same thing until 'locked' appears on the display. Have a nice day.
I can give you detailed guide describing exactly wich capacitors to replace . Your tv really only needs maybe 5 dollars worth of parts. But you must know how to solder and take things apart . also you must be able to put it back together. if only there was some way you could paypal 50 buck to me.;(
Your thermal cutout is tripping. This only happens when the motor heat gets very high, and the reason it takes a while to turn back on is that the motor has to cool down before it will reset. Ensure that absolutely every air pathway is clear, because a lack of airflow will overheat your motor. If they are, you have probably blown a motor bearing, which unfortunately is not economically feasible to repair since it requires a whole new motor.
We also have vertical lines with our JVC 62"... turning it off and letting it cool down is the only solution. For us, we know it's a problem with heat. We simply are wits end on fixing it. added two additional fans, a exterior fan to blow heat away from the back of the tv, pulled everything else away, etc.... Anyway, goodluck.
