Question about Cameras
My digitizer is important to me and a recent purchase. It did not come with a driver to download that I can remember, only Audacity software
It is not your computer that needs drivers, it is the hardware you need to connect to the operating system that needs a driver. From Windows 7 and up, Microsoft only allows drivers, if the manufacturer asked for certification and the hardware and driver work conform Microsofts demands. When the hardware and driver is certified the driver is also on the Microsoft website. Most of the time if you use new hardware the operating system goes to Microsoft to see if there is a correct driver and then installs the driver.
For older hardware, only few manufactures make drivers and ask certification. Most manufactures only develop drivers for their new hardware. So for older hardware there are only a few drivers. If Microsoft can't deliver drivers, or the manufacturer from the hardware can't, you are lost. The devices won't work with the new operating system. Nobody told you that before upgrading. Since I upgraded to win 7 I could not use several expensive things I was used to, because the firms don't like to make a driver fr the hardware they don't sell anymore.

The C3000(which I have) and C3030 are not directly supported by any version of Windows. You must either use the Camedia software to access the camera(via USB connection) or use an external Smartmedia card reader like a ZIO(I have one, it works great). Camedia 2.0 will work(with XP) but it will not allow you to select more than one picture at a time to download from the camera. I have heard that Camedia 2.5 fixes this problem with XP and it is available for purchase from the Olympus website. I decided to get the card reader instead of the new version of Camedia because I use Photoshop to do my editing. I believe only the latest Oly cameras(like the 3020) have direct support under XP. By this I mean when you connect the camera to the PC it shows up as a new drive letter. Hope this helps.

You will have to check with the mfgs website to find out if it doesn't load up and work with the XP dirvers.

you don't need a driver
just connect it
turn it on
open my computer on your desktop
look for an icon or hard drive that wasn't there before
double click it
inside there will be 2 or 3 folders
one of them will have your pics in
copy and paste them wherever you want
hope this helps
