There is a mark as spam button in gmail near the top of the message you are reading. Mark each one that comes in as spam and they will be filtered to your spam folder.

I suggest to take the matter up with your email provider. They control the spam settings on the server. The next step would be to install a proper paid anti-virus software. Free version will not live up to the job if you get a lot of spam. If you email provider can't help you, consider to change your email address at the service provider or consider to change the service provider, service providers with poor spam filters will allow a lot spam through.

Are you talking about 'Spam' e-mails here? If so tick the box next to the emails you dont want and instead of chosing delete select 'mark as spam' this means they wont come to your inbox they will automatically be directed to a spam folder.

It Depends on the email client, etc., but ultimately there is not a whole lot you can do. Spam just happens. You must learn to identify it. In general, your email address is your business and should not be shared, unless you know exactly where it is going (and of course, NEVER share your password online). Most email providers have spam filters, Google's is actually quite good. Check out your provider's, it may have settings that need to be modified.

Hi. You haven't said what you are using for email. Do you use a webmail account like yahoo mail or do you get it through your internet service provider? Are you using an email program like Outlook? Can you send mail out?

The most common reason why email stops coming through is from some spam filter. The spam filter can be from you ISP (internet provider) or on your own machine. Usually spam filters will allow some mail through from a address, ie like a friend's address one time but not the next IF there was something in the subject line or body that it thinks is spam. Also sometimes they will block an entire domain if that domain (the part after the @ ie @spamsend.com ) is a suspected domain used by spammers. Check in your SPAM folder also check in your email's TRASH folder to make sure they haven't ended up there.

Another reason can be that a FIREWALL is blocking the port used for recieving mail has gotten blocked. That can be in your machine setup or in the router if you're using one.

And one last thing - your anti-virus software can be blocking it.

If your emails are being marked as spam by Yahoo, then you could try this
(1) send an email to one of your friend's yahoo mail
(2) ask your friend to go into their yahoo mail Spam
folder, open the message from you, and click the "Not Spam" button.

you can exchange your antivirus put the nod32, version 3.0 and for spam you can use the program search and destroy, this 2 programs are very good.
