Mouse has a mind of it's own...often skipping across the screen without any assistance. Is there a patch available?

it might be due to scroll speed of mouse going bit high.
to adjust the same...click on start...control panel...mouse icon...mouse properties window would open... click on the pointers tab...adjust the pointer speed setting... this should help in fixing the issue.

My wife runs a pc and a new problem has arisen. When the cursor clicks on an open application window (Outloook, Word, IE, whatever..) the information inside the application window jitters up and down...

go to start tehn click on run .
type msconfig there then go to startup tab
and try removing checks from unsual names.
Dont remove that ones which are related to system folder.

Pen and mouse have constant constant cursor jitter Intuos 3 mac

I had a similar problem on my laptop

I plugged the tablet directly into the laptop rather than the USB hub I'd been using until then, The issue disappeared.

Possibly it's a power issue, and going direct cured it?

Sony hdr-cx7 image jitters when the cam gets hot

one fix is turning off steadyshot then try putting the camcorder upright(the lens pointing up) for few second until you see the video stabilize, then use as normal but the camcorder will jitter again if handle it roughly. This is just a workaround, i still dont know why it happens, need to send it for repair soon.

USB mouse is jittery

Try the mouse on a different surface, also be sure you do not have any light directed at the mouse - this confuses the eye. Although no mouse pad is required for an optical mouse, sometimes it helps

Akai pdp 4273m 42

I cured the problem by placing a fan in front of the screen that not only blows directly on the LCD screen, but also air underneath the screen providing circulation around the entire unit. Apparently the LCD screen is overheating causing it to "trip". I can stop the blower after about 20 minutes and there is no problem.

I will never buy another Westinghouse product again as long as I live.
