SOURCE: JBL amp, worked fine untill 2 days ago. protection light on..

might have roasted your speakers voice coils a little which may be sending the amp into protect mode throw a speaker on it that you know works and if it doesnt trigger the protect circuit then you probably have a blown or almost sub.

Behringer iNUKE NU6000DSP
Stereo mode is set by the DSP processor ( I/O amp mode). The link above will lead you to the manual. On the main page go to "documentation" and to "manual , English". Review and study the functions of the DSP processor. Yo'll nedd to find I/O amp mode.

Does anyone know how i should hook up a pair of peavey sp118 Bxsubs with a pair of peavey pr15 tops and the behringer inuke nu6000 please help

You will require 4 heavy gauge 1/4" speaker cables in order to connect all 4 cabinets to the Behringer power amp. Usually two longer ones from the power amp to the sub woofer cabs. Then two short ones from the second "thru" jack to the upper 15" cabs. Remember the entire audio frequency range is going to all four speakers. Sometimes you will have problems balancing the low frequency levels between all four cabs depending on the loading of each. A more desirable way to do this is with a bi-amped arrangement. This way two seprate amps are used for the subs and 15" cabs and you control them independantly.

Power amp goes into protect mode when turn on

Do you have a load (speakers) connected to the amp? Some amps shut down when there is no load connected?

Behringer inuke 3000 goes into protection mode when turn on. What is the problem?

Might be that a simple screw is loose or temp protector, but often the mute/ power off with these simple units is done with a capacitor and resistor, there would be the first thing to watch, just check which ic regulates the the power on/off mute ic

Loud buzz/hum started on jbl eon 1500 powered speaker one side only after power cut off and sudden power back on makes same noise on it`s own as well as with mixer etc could this be a transformer...

For some reason the soft on protection circuit has failed. it is not a simple fix and would require the amplifier module to be removed from the speaker to assess the damage.

I have a power acoustik ibm12000d amp had it installed to weeks ago wired at one ohm to a 15inch acoustik p3 sub worked good for to weeks hit good and everything but now its cutting off when turned up I...

Sounds like an over current condition. Your sub may be the problem. Does it go into protect mode when it cuts out? remove the sub and turn up the volume and see if it cuts out when you keep increasing the volume. If not, then it may be that the sub shorts out when turned up too much, kicking the amp into protect mode. If it still cuts out, then it may be the amp. Try another sub if you have one or borrow one from a friend.

I have blown the protection circuit on my yamaha rx 600d amp anyone with a clue whats needed to fix?

Hi friend, when something goes wrong in the output of the amplifier the protection circuit take place to prevent further damage could cause by DC power such as speakers or other related circuits...I think in your situation either one or both output amp stage have blown, then the protection cct turned on (not blown protection circuit!?). If so you have to check all the output transistors for short cct, if shorted you must also check all the DC bias cct nearby such as small transistors,resistors...If you are not familar with amplifier it better to find a tech as all amplifiers need a very precide repair technic , If the DC BIAS were wrong , when you turn on the power it will blow straight away! All times and cost will be waisted!
GOOD LUCK!

JBL Eon G2 Speaker

from our experience rebuilding woofers once the lead wires get pulled too much or start to strain you have been running too much power into the woofer and making the cone move too far in and out.You need to cut the input signal from your preamp down and cut the volume down on the speaker input on you eon. We keep seeing too many of these amped speakers blown from too much signal.
