After downloading free LMT on my garmin 1450 LMT, the screen is stuck (just shows the word (GARMIN )cannot access ANYTHING !

I would register you GPS at the Garmin website https://my.garmin.com/mygarmin/customers/myGarminHome.faces and see if there is a software update available. If so I would do the update. If there is any damage to the software it should get fixed. To register and update your GPS you will need a USB cable to connect it to your computer. You will also need to create an account through the Garmin website. Once you are finished registering your device(the website well walk you through it) you should be able to find the software update under "MyDashboard" link.

Hi, A soft reset will preserve your Home, Favorites, POis, etc.or just remove the battery. Leave the battery in the unit. Hold down on the lower right of the screen while holding down on the power button. After 20-30 seconds, you should see the Garmin splash screen. Have your PC/laptop ready with USB cable. Get the latest Map update downloaded and installed or just start using the unit again. i hope this will be very helpfull to you. please don't don't forget to vote me Good Luck

The LMT versions are pre activated so all you need to do is go to www.garmin.com navigate to the my dashboard tab. there you will find a field to login or create a new account. From there it is a step by step process to getting it registered. you will need you USB cable or the unit serial number from the box bottom of the unit.

This is real simple, fast route on all GPS,S including yours simply means fatest route by time to get there based on best roads and speed limits. Shortest route might be shorter in miles per say, but not always the fastest, because it will take you threw neighborhoods or back roads , school zones etc....
