Why does the printer say error replace ink cartridges after i just replaced them

Chances are the printer needs maintenance, you can actually send it to a repair center to replace the inkpads for your printer, try this link for information and you can download as well the utility from this site after registering:

SOURCE: Not printing after color cartridge ran out - new black cartridge installed.

Yes, this printer has fixed printheads and must have ink in each color to prevent damage to the printheads. Even when printing black only each color is spit in the servicing area to keep the printhead unclogged.

Go to the Epson website and download the reset program and run it.
They will have a disclaimer telling you that the ink pad MUST be replaced by a trained tech, or the ink will overflow and short out electrical parts. I have had my printer for over 5 years and most of my ink goes into the ink pad as I dont use it much and most of the time at least one of the print heads is clogged, my pad was no where near overflowing. I soaked up as much as I could with tissues.
If you move the catridges to the left and look down you will see the ink pad. Use rubber gloves, it is very messy
This is a utility to manage your ink. Gives an accurate count of how many ink shot are left in each cartridge. The print told me I need a new magenta but this program says I have 13% left. It also has sepparate routines for cleaning the black and color (unfortunately not individual cartridges)

After you have installed the new ink, take it out again, and check that the hole has been pierced. Then, shake the ink by giving it a quick suck until some ink comes out, and then replace the cartridge into the printer. This worked for us anyway. Good luck!

one ink cartridge is out of ink but...

when we try to replace one of the color ink cartridges we get this error message:

ink cartridges cannot be recognized. make sure ink cartridges are installed correctly - how do I get the printer to recognize my full ink cartridge?

Why am I getting W11 error on Epson Stylus NX420?

I ad tried all kinds of things after looking all over the internet for a solution. Finally, I found out what the problem was. The little metal clips inside that make contact with the chip... One had fallen out of place and was laying at the bottom on the print well. I retrieved it, cleaned it, carefully reinstalled it, replaced the cartridge in question and it started charging right away.

Cant get my canon mx330 printer to work

Wont print with all new ink cartridges

If the error message is only "magenta/cyan low", it doesn't cause any error. The low message stays after replacing ink cartridges if they're replaced too early (before they're indicated as actually empty), it doesn't cause the printer to not work.
However, some other problem might be faulty, or there might be another error message. Try emptying printer queue and print from Ink Management -> Menu/set (twice) to check wether the problem is with communication from pc or if the printer actually is unable to print.

Keep getting replace yellow ink cartridge error message

Hi,

Where did you get the error message on printer or computer?

If you get the message on printer remove all cartridges and reinsert the cartridges and align the ink cartridges. If the alignment page prints successfully then the problem is resolved.

If you get the message on the computer disconnect the usb from computer. uninstall the software and reinstall the full feature software by selecting connect USB later.
