When the bobbin is wound with too much tension it crushes the inside and won't come off the spindle. You need to pull all the thread off the bobbin and replace it. Make sure you wind the bobbin at slow speed and the presser foot is up if you wind through the needle.

This is excellent advice! I have managed to unwind the bobbin and now it will come off the spindle. Now let's see if I can manage to wind it at a slower speed. Many thanks!

Error stuck on rewinding bobbin ][

Question edited for clarity. It is a 'bobbin', not a 'bobbing'.
Is it E6, E7, E4, or is it E674? But the main problem, NO Make and Model. Just Google the Error code like this with make and model before it Margaret.

I have a Viking number 1+. The bobbin case broke and after it was replaced now the thread continually wraps around the part that sticks out any ideas I have re-threaded several times rewound the Bobben

Did you check to be sure you placed the bobbin back in the holder correctly? I think it might snap in. Also, is the bobbin holder clipped back in? Lastly, do you have the bobbin going in the correct direction when the thread comes out? Some go in clockwise and some counter-clockwise.

I'm trying to thread my bobbin on my Sears Kenmore sewing machine, Model #158.15160. My bobbin spindle is not turning. What am I doing wrong?

Is there thread stuck on the spindle? If the bobbin is inserted the wrong way, sometimes thread can get stuck on the spindle. Another reason could be that the thread is not pulled all the way through the bobbin holder or it's caught between parts on the holder.

How do I wind my bobbin

Bobbins are wound at the top of your machine. There is a post on the top right that your empty bobbin is slid onto, a chrome latch that pushes towards the bobbin. A spool of thread is set into another post, usually right behind the little bobbin winder post. A length of thread is guided thru a post at the opposite end and brought back to the bobbin-winder post. Nowthe power is engaged. At the time of power applied, the post upon which the bobbin is seated on, spins and accumulates the thread. Note: Bobbins must be removed from underneath the sewing stage to be rewound with new thread. Replacement is much the same as removal, with a plate that slides away, a reveals the shuttle where the bobbin is located. The rewinding happens at the top.

Janome js1008 thread

check to make sure the top thread isn't coming off the thread take up lever
also make sure the bobbin is turned the right way in the bobbin case
make sure the needle is turned the correct way in the needle holder
also try a different bobbin
if none of these suggestions help, then it would be a good idea to have the machine checked for a timing problem

Bobbin stuck on bobbin winder spindle

you might have to use some force but not enough to break
the bobbin winder spindle. it's also possible that there is something
wrong with the bobbin for it to get stuck on the bobbin winder spindle

Pfaff 1222 Bobbin holder stuck with thread

With power off, take the needle out and the presser foot. Remove the two flathead screws that secure the needle plate from the machine and remove the plate. You'll have a top view of the bobbin housing and see the thread that's stuck to it.
