What was the cost to buy it or a new one? How long have you had it. If the circuit board needs diagnosing and repair that could add up quickly in cost.

Is it NEW? Return it if in warranty time. you've used it past warranty time? Well, hope you get a better answer like mine, though I doubt it. Toys are designed to las just until warranty is over, even expensive toys, and actually I don't know about any Toy-repair Service.

My wii went off after a thunderstorm and doesn't get on anymore, can I do something to fix it? I've already changed the battery inside but nothing cheanged.

First make sure the circuit is live - Are there other things on that circuit? Do they work? If not, check that the breaker hasn't tripped, and reset it if necessary. Next, check that that specific outlet wasn't damaged. Plug something else into it. Does it work? If not, the outlet needs to be replaced. Also plug the Wii into another outlet. If it works, this also confirms the original outlet has been damaged. If the Wii still doesn't power on, the power supply has probably been damaged. Unless you can replace it yourself, it probably isn't worth having it repaired.

NewAir AC 1400E. No green light on plug. Pushing reset button does nothing. Has been running OK. Outlet is live. Does not need draining. Any ideas?

If the reset button is not doing what it should. Try these solutions listed below::

Remove and replace the water collection bucket. Making sure the float valve (if your has one) inside the top of bucket is not stuck in the UP position. Also, be sure that the bucket fits squarely into the holder from top to bottom. If it doesn't, it won't trigger the buck removal safety switch.

If that didn't work do the following:

Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the unit from the wall outlet.
Wait 15 minutes, plug the unit in and turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON.

Generally, doing the above, allows the unit to reset and revert back to the original factory settings and you can proceed from there. If it still does not work, there may be a problem with the cord & reset switch. The best way to find out is test the continuity of the cord, with a multimeter.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

Heat element not working

Well, if there is not heating the food and making a loud buzzing or humming sound when it is on, then the magnetron has failed. It typically shorts out and fails. The magnetron for this cost $140 plus the cost of the service call, you're better off buying a new oven. Hope this helps.

Buzzing

I do not believe you need to be concerned about radiation leaks since the cabinet and door are properly designed to prevent that however the buzzing sound could be any number of things that could range from a simple fan to the magnetron tube failing.. That particular model is relatively inexpensive and service calls are not. In my opinion, it just isn't worth the costs associated with having it repaired when you can buy one for comparable money. You might find a local repair shop and have it examined and get an estimate of the cost to fix. If the costs to repair exceed the costs to replace then the obvious choice would be to replace. Your call..

I had the same problem with mine and the fix for it was to replace the Q401 transistor on the main board. Used a NTE382
