Question about Symbol MC50 Pocket PC

There are 3 numbers with barcodes and 2 without, any one of which could be a serial number, but none are identified as such. What's the format of the serial number for these things?

thx

Well....the serial number is under the battery on a white label...its at least 14 characters long and starts with a date like:

**04334**520200194 (date is the 334th day of 2004)

It is much more enlightning to tell us what you want to do rather than talk about something that does not exist. And one thing that does not mean anything is that ellusive INVERSE key that everyone and his dog is looking for.

The additive inverse of a number a is its opposite (-a). The key to use is the change key (-).

The multiplicative inverse of non-zero number a is its reciprocal 1/a

The inverse of the natural log (LN) function is the EXPONENTIAL function e^(x). On most calculators if one function is accessed diectly (the marking is on the key), its inverse is accessed by pressing [SHIF] (Casio, or [2nd] (TI) or [2ndF] (Sharp).

The inverse of the function raise 10 to a power [10^x] is [LOG]

Similarly, the inverse of the sine function SIN is the arcsine [sin^-1]. To access the latter, it you press [2nd][SIN]. The same is true for arcosine [2nd][COS], and arctangent [2nd][TAN]

The inverse of the square functions [x^2] is the square root function [2nd][x^2]

Inverse of x^3 is cubic root

This is just a quick overview.

When you are entering the expression, do not use implied multiplication. For example if your expression contains x times sin(X), enter it as X*SIN(X), otherwise the calculator will look for a function XSIN and will not find it, giving you the error message. No need to enter the explicit multiplication sign if you have a number to the left of the function. Also be wary of entering X3 for 3 times X.

Hi ssmith63,

Put the calculator in radian angle mode. The top answer is in AUTO mode and, The bottom is in Approx mode.

I converted 60 degrees into pi/3 radian which equals 1.0472 radians. I figured 5 significant digits was good enough since, you only went 4. If you have any question just post them and, I'll respond quickly.

Underneath the battery there is a white sticker located in the top right hand corner. The first number is the model number and below that is teh serial number, e.g.

MC5040-PQ0DBNEE1WW -*model number*

[BARCODE]

05295520200460 -*serial number*

[BARCODE] [MANUFACTURE DATE]

hope this helps.

Hi,

Metrologic doesn't have an online warranty checking facility, but you can contact them by phone and request them to check it.

You will need to have as much of the following information as possible ready for when you speak to them:

Customer ID Product Type Serial Number / Date Code / Dated Proof of Purchase.

Ideally have the barcode scanner with you while on the phone so that if they ask you to check for specific serial numbers or codes you have it readily available.

They have multiple contact centers, as I'm not sure what location you are in, please take a look at their website link below to get the phone number for your area.

Most common number: +44(0) 1 925 240055 - United Kingdom.

Your radio is made by **CLARION **and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.

(There are usually two barcodes on one label. The one required is the lower one )

There is a 20% chance of you having this barcode Serial Number

If you have this Barcode Serial Number on your radio then

__POST A NEW QUESTION __

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)
