How do I reset voice mail notification, have tried resetting global setup and VMWI reset but it doesn't stay long as red light starts blinking after a while and there no message?

Likely the two ring answer is "toll saver" You'll need to retrieve new messages. Once all new messages have been reviewed, it should return to the programmed number of rings, see "ring time" in the manual.

ALL messages may be deleted as follows;
delete all messages With the phone in standby, press Delete; press Delete again to confirm.


If answering system messages have been retrieved, a continuing flashing indicator could be your voice mail service;

Voice Message Notification • If you subscribe to a voice mail service, your phone can notify you when you have a new message. This feature supports Frequency-Shift Keying (FSK) notification. Contact your voice mail provider for information. • When you have new messages, the display shows a message icon. After you listen to your messages, the message icon turns off. If it doesn't, you can reset it. With the phone in standby, open the menu and select Global Setup; select VMWI Reset, then select Yes

if the voice message indicator icon remains after you check your messages , you can reset it
1---with the phone in standby, open the menu
2 select the global setup, then select the VMWI reset
3 select yes
the flashing light will then go to full on as in the phone standby situation

I had this same problem with my dect 1480, searched for answers and couldn't find any that worked. I explored settings on the phone and found a solution. I went into Menu - global setup - VMWI reset. (Voice Mail Waiting Indicator) Fixed the problem immediately.

If it doesn't, you can reset it: With the phone in standby, open the
menu and select Global Setup; select VMWI Reset, then select Yes.

Our just started to do the same thing. Drove us crazy because there were no messages. I couldn't find the manual so I looked up the manual on their website. Here's how to fix it....IT WORKS! With the phone in "stand by", open the menu and select Global Setup.Select VMWI reset. Then select yes.
