You need a 110v to 240 volt converter
google search
110V to 240V Step Down Up Transformer Voltage Electricity Converter Adapter

or
go to a local apple store and purchase a 110v 12W USB power adapter designed for IPAD 6

DON"T PLUG a 110V usb power adapter into 240V as smoke will come out of it and it will stop working

Making my 220v appliance work on an 110v outlet

If you are using a 220V-240V appliance at 110V, you will need a transformer. If you are using a 110V appliance at 220V-240V, you can also use a transformer but may be able to get away with a (cheaper) converter though not with all appliances.

What type of a compressor that the sanyo SR - 36A uses? and can it work if remove a 110v compressor and replace it with a 240v compressor?

You can use a 220 volt compressor, just make sure the evaporator fan is also 220 volts as well as all of the bulbs, and anything else that is 120 volts. Everything must be 220 volts. including the start and run capicitors.

Good luck,

Marty

I have a 240v drill and need it converted to 110v as I can't use it at work. It is the Hitachi DC 30PC2.

Unfortunately thi sis not really possible internally, you need to purchase step up transformer 110V/115v 220V230V/240V with at least 2A rating, 50Hz/60Hz frequency and at least Watts as are on your drill, that is, I am afraid only solution to your problem. Check prices of the transformers as maybe purchse of new drill will be less expencive.

As you did not stated where you are, I cannot advice more closely where you can find these, for beginning I would suggest chasing one (step-up!) on auction sites and electrical wholesalers, tool dealers.

Want to change my 110v plug on my dewalt radio to 240v

Your radio must be a import from the U.S.A. Your radio will not work on 240v YOU WILL BLOW IT UP!!! You need a step down transformer 240v to 110v to goto your radio, you will have to do a search on Ebay in Power tools. You sould notice the lead on your 110v radio is not like normal flex as its only single insulated for 110 volts.... Don't put a normal plug on or you may have to call the fire brigade!!

Hi,

You have to replace the power supply with exact voltage and amperage.
Be careful next time.
