just hold the PS button on the controller and select controller settings and change it to 1, if your talking about another kind of handset just take the controller that is 1 and under controller settings change it to 3 and it should swap 3 for 1 putting the handset to 1.

hold the PS button for 2 seconds if you just tap it in a game it brings up the XMB you have to hold it to get to the settings.

Hey this is because your game does not no this new game. Go to www.codejunkies.com and look up the games name there. It will give you the games code at the top of the page ( they usually begin with CPUE). so then you put the code in your ar and when you put in the game next the name will pop up. You can also get cheats from that WEBSITE

If you use more than 2 or 3 codes at a time it will hurt your ds i dont know why but it just does

i put the mic in my ds later it broke and now i threw it away now i cant talk so should i buy it again cause the one on my ds dosent work wat shal i do

if u go to youtube.com or google.com and look up a game for your ar u have to type the name of the cheat and the numbers that come behind it correctly or it wont work

ps its easier if u hook up the chord to your action reply in the small slot on the back amd hook the big part of the chord to the moniter or the side of your lap top

I have this problem too and I am trying to find a better way to fix this, but here's a simple solution so far:

1. Put in your AR and go the the code menu for you game.
2. Select any codes you want to use.
3. Take out the AR and insert the game.
4. Press the START icon that should now be showing.

NOTE: If the game being played is reset or you used Soft Reset the codes turn off.

does it do it with every game ? or only that game? if it does it with every game try taking the top of console off and cleaning the glass of the laser which reads the game, have done this myself and it fixed it

Try resetting the hardware by following these steps: 1/ With the console powered off, hold A+B.
2/ Power up the console while still holding A+B.
3/ As soon as the Nintendo screen is displayed, before our screen stating this product is not endorsed by Nintendo, press and hold Start and Select while keeping hold of A+B.
4/ Continue to hold these buttons until the Main Action Replay screen is displayed, then release. Your product is reset, and will accept codes once more.
