I put two new inks in it printed test page will print nothing else trying to print a ebay label i have a 1200 series

check your ink status.You may be needing more ink. Follow the instructions when putting new ink in and do a test page.That might help

Wont print

It could be that your cartridges needs some cleaning. Try to follow the steps below to fix the problem:
  1. Make sure your printer is connected to your computer and is turned on.
  2. From your computer, go to Start menu.
  3. Go to Programs or All Programs.
  4. Go to Lexmark 1200 Series folder.
  5. Select Lexmark Solution Center.
  6. From the Maintenance tab, select Clean to fix horizontal streaks.
Your printer will then print a test page forcing ink through the cartridge nozzles and clean them from possible clogs and dirt. After successfully printing the page, try to print your document again to verify that the problem is fixed.
If that doesn't help, you can manually wipe the cartridge nozzles with a slightly damped paper towel. Then reinsert the cartridges and try to print again.
If the problem continues, then it could be a faulty cartridge. Try to insert a different known working cartridge or better yet a brand new genuine Lexmark cartridge. Lexmark products work best with original supplies.

When i try print the label..no output at the label..how to test whether the ink is function or not

But here is the basic troubleshooting info for that issue

No print on the label.The media may not be direct thermal media when printing without ribbon (i.e. thermal
transfer). See the test procedure

Determining Thermal Media Types on page 29.
• For thermal transfer printers, the media may not be outside wound or approved for use in
the G-Series printer. See the following ribbon test procedures: Ribbon Test with Adhesive
on page 32

and Ribbon Scratch Test on page 33.
• Is the media loaded correctly? Follow the instructions for

Loading Roll Media on page 11
in the Getting Started section. For printing using transfer ribbon, see

Loading Transfer Ribbon
on page 14.

I am trying to use a Z705 color jetprinter, but cannot get it to print from the pc. I can print from notepad (not using the print file from the tool bar but from the notepad file. I have tried everything....

May be you are not installed well the software driver of the printer. First check the test page of the printer.

For test page see the option of the printer icon.right click icon goto the properties and click test page. Then it will not print well after that put the driver cd into the cd drive and install the software.try it and if the prob comes again please inform to fixya.com

No ink on paper

You need a new print head.....if your pixy is 3 years oldish...only thing that worked for mine try ebay or states.

Print page comes out blank

If the cartridges are old too this may be a problem. When ink gets old it can clog the cartridges. If they are old replace them with new ones. If they are new ones did you peel the protective covering off before you inserted the cartridges? Hopes this helps
