Machine error A7 ( brother dcp 115c )

Here's what the manual states in the troubleshooting section:


Unable to Change
Unable to Clean
Unable to Init
Unable to Print
Unable to Scan

The machine has a mechanical problem.
-OR-
A foreign obstacle such as a clip or ripped
paper is in the machine.
Open the scanner cover and remove
any foreign obstacles inside the
machine. If the error message
continues, disconnect the machine
from the power source for several
minutes then reconnect it.

Unfortunately this is an error in print head and need replace.New print head will cost you as much more then new printer then think about new printer.

Prova a scaricare il driver dal sito brother.

Right side of hean remove upper cover

you need a new waist ink absorber box.
Search this forum for error 46 or unable to clean. the procedure is explained many times (identical for all brother inkjets)

you have to replace the print head.

But to be honest: its cheaper to buy a new dcp 135c or 130c with warranty and new carts incl.....

press menu then start b/k-copy (mono) then fortimes arrow up button quickly after another. machine will switch to mainteance mode. press start bk copy.
What two digit error code does the machine display?

Did you change the CIS scanner (because of broken glass or stained with ink?)

The eeprom parameter is not machting with the scanner type!

You cant fix this by yourself. Needs special software only provided by brother.

Another solution is to use another scanner top with identical parameters.

Your print head is stuffed. More expensive than new machine, Release your frustration with this unit by placing neatly in bin!
