I have been charging and syncing my zen vision:m on my laptop for almost 6 months. My computer was reading it fine. all of the sudden, it will no longer charge or sync onto my computer. but it will charge on any other computer than mine. In "My Computer" it shows the zen is connected, but none of my software, not even windows media player, will read it! helppppp!!! I want to add new music and be able to charge it :(

I'm having the exact same problem. My zen is 'charging' but isn't detected anywhere on my pc and I'd leave it charging for days but nothing happens. I've tried different usb ports, reinstalling the software several times but nothing. I recently reinstalled Windows and with my new pc my Zen cannot work on it for some reason?! I put previous files from my old pc onto my Zen hoping that I could transfer them onto my new Windows pc but I fear I've lost the data on my Zen completely. Arggh, any suggestions guys? Please..x
If that doesn't fix it trythe USB cable Screen Doesn’t come on anymore http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18859 If your Zen V is dead, wont respond to anything, try this, plug it in to the computer, hold the power switch in the on position, THEN trigger the reset button, worked like a charm for mine, I had thought it a lost cause."
How to make Creative vision m, find the computer. Connect your creative with U. S. B. cable. Go to my computer, click on right button on mouse go to properties, click on hardware tab, click on device manager button , scrawled to creative logo press on right button on mouse and press on update drives. This worked for me on both of my computers now I can charge my creative and transfer of the files to it with no problems. Good luck.
If charging by USB is not charging your player enough to even be able
to power up, then you're going to have to get hold of an AC wall
charger that plugs into the ZVM's round DC-IN jack (on the sync
adapter). PSP chargers work perfectly, if you have one. Let it charge
for a few hours this way, then post back.
