I TRIED SOLUTION FROM SYMAR DATED MAR 14, 08 IT WORKED FOR NOW. I HOPE IT WILL CONTINUE WORK UNTIL SERVICING...COME MORNING.

hello. here is the customer service department info at DCS. Since this unis is new, Irecommend that you work directly with them so as to avoid voiding the warranty

U have a bad clock or your probe inside of oven is bad.I would replace your probe first .it looks like a rod sticking out inside back upper top .f7 I believe means its not reading up temp and getting to hot

Oven beeps and display shows F7
Error F7 means that the keypad is shorted or stuck and to resolve this issue you'll have to replace the Electronic Range control (ERC).

The code can be caused by a faulty keypad or a stuck keypad which may mean relay is turned on. Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or Control by:
a.- Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
b.- Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if code come on again, the problem is in the Control. Replace control to solve it. If code does not come on, problem is with the Key Panel.

I just got home and heard my DCS WOSD-230 making a beeping sound and flashing codes f7 and f1. There is nothing in the guide about codes. I pushed the cancel buttons and it stopped. The oven seems to work....
I wouldn't worry about it, it may have been a power outage. You already reseted the pcb so you are OK.

Any time that you get the f7 error this means
F7 Shorted Clear/Off Key due to membrane switch, control or connector Shorted key panel membrane switch; Check Electronic Range Control (ERC)
repair or replace keypad switxh or erc circuit

Display Condition Remedy
F0 & F1 EOC failure Replace EOC
F2 Oven over heat Defective Sensor or EOC
F3 Oven Sensor Open Replace Sensor
F4 Shorted wire or Sensor locate short and correct it

F6 EOC failure Replace EOC

F7 alarm
F7 stands for a faulty touch pad, faulty clock or both. Usually it's the touch pad. Most manufacturers recommend replacing both of the components. First, because they make more money that way, and second, it's the easiest (although more expensive) way to fix this problem. If you'd rather try and save some $$$, you can perform the following test and hopefully identify which of the two components needs to be replaced. The test... Disconnect the power to the oven before performing any repairs. Something triggers the clock to display F7 error code. You can unplug the touch pad from the clock and see if F7 comes back on.
