The Universal remote will probably not work with all of the features/buttons of the TV's original remote. The RCR414bhe manual indicates a copyright date of 2018. The LED32B30RQD is 3 years newer. Usually a universal remote needs to be programmed 6 months after the TV was manufactured to include the full set of compatible codes. (It may work for On/Off or volume changes. The Menu, source, guide and DVD functions are the ones that are less likely to work.)
Chances are you have backlight issues, I believe this set only has one strip down the middle of the TV with 13 lamps in it, if one is shorted it shuts down the power supply LED driver section, and I'm guessing this is what is happening
Here's how you test the remote. Use your camera on your cell phone and shine the remote at the camera. Press each and every button on the remote and watch the results on your phone. With each button press, you will see the led on the end of the remote flash when you look at it on the screen of the phone. If every button produces a flickering light, then the remote is OK. The IR sensor circuits on the main board of the TV are failing. A replacement board can be purchased from here: TV Parts Universal TV Stands DLP Chips ShopJimmy
That board right in the middle is the power board and it powers the LED backlights. This is a common failure on this model and the board is not in stock in most places.
Hello, your post shows that you need an owners manual for an 208 RCA TV, I suppose t's a type O and that you mean a 2008 RCA TV. You can download on PDF file almost any owners manual from the RCA website(rca.com) just click under support and provide the correct model number.
I could not find a "RCA model #27F350T", but there is a RCA model 27F530T, and according to the users manual for that TV, it is not Digital ready. You will need a converter box if you wish to continue receiving antenna based broadcasts. Your users manual can be found at the following link. http://tv.rca.com/RCATV/Assets/pdfs/27F530T_1620181B_IB_e-04.pdf
