if you use internet explorer 7 or 8 just roll back to the IE6 by uninstalling from the control panel add remove software ..
this explorers have issues in some operating systems...
rolling it back it will make it work ..
Another thing that you shoul take a look to is the time and date setting on the computer ...be sure it is set right cause if the explorer has been release in 2008 for example and your computer it is not on date with the time and date ...it will see that the cripts are not yet on usage ..and will not display the pages...
so ..verify this first than if it is all ok but not working just uninstall the 8 or 7 ..until you get to 6...this is the default browser for xp...and it i the one that works perfect ..
another suggestion is that it may just be bugged with a virus on the mment an dyou have to clean all temporary data in the browser memory ...and cookies...anyway using a different browser it is another good idea cause sometimes if explorer gets a virus you can not make it back until you reinstall the whole operation system ..( this program it is a part of windows and can not be removed for good)
Also you might try to make a system restore...to an earlier date when you know all was good..and functional...
Have a nice day !
