Hi
look for a FN + some key (F3-F12) combination to turn the touch pad off, there can also be a button next to the power button to switch touchpad on and off.
You can also try to disable it using windows itself by right clicking the touchpad software (by the system clock )and in it's settings look for an option to deactivate the internal touchpad.
Hope this helps.

This is hard you have to take the laptop apart to get to the ram. but you have to remove the screen to get to the case screws.

the fn key and one of the f keys should turn this on and off, if not
its possible the cable from the touchpad to the motherboard is loose or the touchpad is bad

could be malware infection but before, open and check that touchpad to motherboard interface flex is ok and well plugged in the socket. also uninstall all touchpad drivers, run a malware removal tool then, scan for new hardware..
