Hi friend, thank you for your post!
I have identified that a few possibilities to why water is leaking from the bottom of your dehumidifier could be a crack inside your bucket or condensation from the bucket. I would remove your bucket and look it over to see if you can locate any visible cracks or chips. How much water is leaking from your dehumidifier? If you can provide any further information I look forward to assisting you. -Matt

It sounds as though the collection pail is not installed correctly, or the hose fitting cap is loose. Make sure that the pail is seated correctly & the cap is tight. Inspect the bottom for rust perforation, too, although this is a long shot. If this fails, then the cold coil may have broken away from it's mount, & is dripping in the wrong place. Inspection with the cover off will reveal any misalignment or broken components. Repair as required.

I don't have a Haier but I have a dehumidifier which has a float and when the float get to a certain point,it activates a switch for auto shutdown. If yours has the same setup, the switch is probably bad.
Good luck! Greg If not,let me know.

The classic model drains thru the clear hose using gravity. The drip pan in that unit is about 1/2 way up in the cabinet. Make sure the drain hose exits the unit and runs flat or downhill. If the drain hose is coiled vertically or run up hill causing water to trap within the hose it can cause water to back up in the dehumidifier drip pan and overflow causing your problem. If your drain is higher than the base of the dehumidifier, you can raise the dehumidifier or you can purchase a condensate pump kit that will allow the drain water to be pumped up to 15 feet above the dehumidifier.
The drain hose may have become disconnected from the drip pan as well. To check, turn off the humidistat to stop the dehumidifier from running. Next disconnect the cord from the power supply. Remove the six screws holding the cabinet side (with the label) from the cabinet and remove the cabinet side. The drain hose connects to a nipple on the bottom of the drip pan.

Hey friend, thanks for your post!
It sounds like your dehumidifier needs to be professionally cleaned. What could be causing the problem is a buildup on the inside of your dehumidifier where the water drains out and it is causing the water to not drain properly. Additionally, I would check to verify that the drain hole is tightly secured with the plug. I know you stated that the bucket is not leaking but have you removed it to verify? Please comment back if further assist is needed. -Matt
