How do I get the battery out of the thermastat?

if you dont have a common at the tstat it requires batteries. it has been my experience that anything below a 1.3dc on a battery should be replaced. I replace below 1.4 dc. IF you have both a r and c to the stat, voltage is 24-27 a.c. then the tstat is bad.

Check the battery. sometimes the stat can get an electrical shock, take the stat off the wall take out the batteries, if applicable, and set the stat down and walk away for at least 5 minutes then put it back, it might reset.

My Motorola Razor cellphone all of a sudden went blank, i took out the battery and put it back in and turned it on, but the keyboard just flashes and the screen stays blank, what do i do?

Well it depends on the type of screen you have in the phone. Some have edges that can split open and lose the fluid that projects the picture so your best bet is to just replace the phones screen, if every thing else works fine

the thermostat should be closed when you take it out, therefore the thermostat is bad. It does not closed.

This unit doesn't require a battery. It runs off the 24v from the unit. Check that your transformer is still working. Check the control board for 24v pwr. and main pwr. Check your breaker to the unit. It could be as simple as a bad stat too. You can check by using a jumper wire and jumping across from r term. to y term.

un snap the t-stat off the wall yo find the batteries

Check for a blown fuse inside the air handler.

check power to the furnace.
