SOURCE: My Frigidaire range display has gone out and the oven doesn't work.

sun, first test is to power the unit down. Find the pair of breakers which are generally 40 or more amperes. Turn them both off and back on. If this doesn't fix it, you will probably need a circuit board.

SOURCE: Help in Removing Frigidaire Smooth Cooktop Burner

What holds the spring assembly onto the bar assembly is just two small prongs. Use a pliers on the end that protrudes through the bar, squeezing the prongs together, and it should come out fairly easily.

SOURCE: Electric spark for gas range burner is non stop

Turning any knob starts the spark via a switch behind each which should disengage when the (any) knob is turn further.
One of your switches is stuck.

I think you should be able to remove the range-top for access and find the offending switch.
It is probably gummy from a spill and is no longer in solid contact with the cam that operates it.

A solvent/lubricant such as WD-40 sprayed on the plunger of the switch once you can see it and operating the knob back and forth should free it up.

It might be wise to turn off the gas supply while tinkering with the range - blow your house away and the range won't matter. :-(

Why won't our oven fan turn off? The oven has not been used and oven is cold.

Hello friend, thank you for your inquiry!

I understand that your fan is not turning off and the element reads "HE" on your Frigidaire range. It sounds like you could be having an issue within your control panel or wiring harness. It may not be communicating properly to your fan or element that it is shutting down. I would recommend having a technician come out to properly diagnose and repair your appliance. -Matt

Fes367dsa fan runs while baking but it is not a convection oven

Chris Lindstrom,

I understand that you have a fan running while you are baking. This is a totally normal function of your applliance. A cooling fan may automatically turn on and off to cool internal parts. It is normal, and the fan may continue to run even after oven is turned off.

Frigidaire oven won't work. top range works fine, but digital clock and digital display stopped working which works oven, so oven also will not work f11 code

Hello steve o - Typically error code F11 indicates a shorted keypad. Try resetting the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. This usually will clear most false error codes. Wait approximately ten minutes and if the error code does not clear contact a professional to move forward accurately. Most likely the EOC on the range will need replacing.

The fan continues to run. How long and will it automatically shut off?

The fan you refer to should be the fan in the oven cavity. It removes hot air from the oven cavity and expels the air out the front of the oven. Once the oven is turned off the fan will continue to operate until the oven cavity has cooled sufficiently. It may run for 10 to 15 minutes and will turn off by itself.

Built in oven keeps shutting down for no known reason

there is an overheat stat and this is probably coming into operation.
check casing fan is operating - not the fan inside the oven - and check there is plenty of ventilation for the appliance

Cooling fan running continuously

CREDA Kitchen Range -The cooling fan and oven fan run contiuously when the oven is turned off. The only way at present to stop them is to switch the stove off at the cooker supply box. When you switch it back on at the supply box, both the fans start start running again. How can I fix it ?
Many thanks Stu.
