A little popup that appears in the lower left corner of your Hitachi smart TV screen may be related to one of the TV's settings or capabilities. You can attempt the following actions to get rid of it:

It sounds like your computer might be infected with spy- and/or malware. The easiest way to get rid of this is to use a free program like Adaware (or any other similar program). Adaware is made by Lavasoft, a simple google search should get you a download.

Another option might be to get an add-on for Firefox called "AdBlock Plus". I've been using it myself for years to block out unwanted adds and I do believe it also kills certain popups.

That is the manufacturer for the BIOS. That is normal when you boot up your computer. Don't stress it.

The guests do not have access to Empowering, only users specified by the administrator can access it that way can not gain control of the machine.

The green e button at the top right corner is called the Empowering Key. It is used to launch the Acer Empowering technology on the Acer Aspire 5315 computer.

You don't need to pay acer the 100usd to get the password removed, 
one thing you can try first, is to disable the elock service from 
start -> run -> type in services.msc
look for elock service right click properties startup type disabled and stop the service, on some elocks this is enought to stop it from working. but it debends I can fix this and I have done it many times now..

Start it in safe mode by tapping the F8 key right after you turn it on.


Then:

start

settings

control panel

add/remove programs

Remove all the 'empowering technology' programs.

Reboot in normal mode.
