Check to see if the pinch roller is set for standard sheet feeding the printer must feed by the tractor feed only.Does the paper get damaged when you try to feed or reset the page beginning, What we are looking for is a piece of one of the sheets loged in the pinch roller.Also check the pressure adjuster on the right side if you are not using multiple copie printing it should be set to medium . I HAVE CUSTOME SIZE OF PAPER WHICH IS NOT AVILABLE IN THE PRINTER LIST .WHEN I DEEL WITH WINDOS XP
BUT WHEN DEEL WIHTH WINDOS 98 ITS OK

NO I DONT HAVE WINDOS 98 . MY QUESTION HOW I CAN ADJUST PAPER TO CUSTOM SIZE

if u use up tractor use down tractor or inverse the operation
coz your problem is in paper sensor in up or down printing

I have Epson LQ 2180. When Ever i load paper from rear tractor feeder it loads the paper and still shows the paper out LED. If i press Load/Eject button it only loads the paper not eject. I have cleaned...

My friend we have LQ2180 in our office, there i a lever in the right side of the printer that indicates when you print your document. Adjust to upward to print the document from rear tractor and to print from the front push the lever downward. Maybe you accidentally, push down the lever.

Epson LQ-2180 loading papar continuesly, and pause button is on.

Possible fault in the mother board, look like the loading control driver is faulty and is running off.
You might have to check the input of the motor drive to see if there is a signal from the mP or it is shorting to run.

How to check paper end sensor for epson lq 2180

have to remove all the covers and its located in the paper load tray at the back has a plastci trigger lever and operates the internal switch what happens is the lever wears off or breaks on the end but the switch does go bad itself
