First question, has the printing behaviour changed or has it always printed this way? If this is new then something has likely changed on your computer. Common problem is updates for programs like Adobe Acrobat which often cause printing problems. Try printing from a couple of different programs so you can determine if all programs are suffering this issue or if it is just one program or type of file you are trying to print.

I would like to provide you few workaround steps, you may try to improve the printing speed on the computer.

Delete all the Temporary files:

For Windows XP:
(1) Click Start >> In the Run window, type "%temp%" which opens temporary files folder.
(2) Delete all the files that are listed over there.

If Windows Vista:
(1) Click Start >> Programs >> Accessories >> In the Run window, type "%temp%" and press enter.
(2) Delete all the files listed under temporary files folder.

Another Workaround:
(1) Click Start >> Printer and Faxes.
(2) Right click on the Printer icon which is set as default and select properties.
(3) Click on Advance Tab.
(4) put a check mark on "Print Directly to printer" option.
(5) Click Apply and Ok.

Hope this solution would be helpful in resolving the issue that you are experiencing.

SOURCE: Printer prints all pages on one sheet of paper

what application are you printing from? also, can you do a print preview to see if there are more than one page? if that works, then your printer mechanism is not following the driver information from the print queue manager.

SOURCE: After turning on printer, prints initial "blank" sheet

You can fix this by turning off bidirectional support:

- Right click your printer, select properties
- go to the ports tab, uncheck Enable bidirectional support.

Your printer has to be turned on before printing.

That fixed the extra page printing S1M problem for me.

The paper isnt going through

If the paper feed rollers are not clean, they may slip and cause paper feeding problems.
The problem may be alleviated by performing paper feed roller cleaning.

1. Open the Printers folder.
- For Windows XP Home Edition Click/Select "Start," "Control Panel," "Printers and Other Hardware," and "Printers and Faxes."
- For Windows XP Professional Edition Click "Start" and "Printers and Faxes."
- For Windows 2000/Me/98 Click/Select "Start," and "Settings," then "Printers."
2. Right-click the icon of the printer for paper feed roller cleaning, and select Properties from the displayed list.
3. Click the Maintenance tab and click Roller Cleaning. 4. Remove all sheets of paper from the auto sheet feeder, and click OK. 5. Confirm the message to be displayed, and click OK.
Do not try other operations until printer's operation completes.
6. When the printer's operation is completed, follow the confirmation message to load three new sheets of A4 or letter-sized plain paper in the auto sheet feeder
7. Click OK.
8. Confirm the message to be displayed, and click OK.
Do not try other operations until all the three sheets are ejected.
Memo: The printer prints nothing on those sheets.
9. When all the three sheets of the paper are ejected, paper feed roller cleaning is completed.
10. Click OK.
Performing Roller Cleaning is completed.
