SOURCE: Paper will not feed properly/one side of paper not feeding in straight

Don't know if it's the same problem i had but its maybe worth a try. My paper went in a little, the wheels were turning but it didn't take the rest of the paper or print.
Someone replied to my problem, i tried it and it fixed 1st time. Also seems to of worked for others
Solution:- Use a piece of thin card, a magazine cover is what i used, make sure its A4 size then try to print something, as the paper starts moving push it through! and hey presto it worked for me, everything printing fine now

SOURCE: Canon PIXMA MP600 printer - paper feed

Issue: Paper feeds skewed
Solution: Clean The Paper Feed Rollers Using The Operation Panel - MP600

Clean The Paper Feed Rollers Using The Unit's Operation Panel If the paper feed roller is dirty, paper is not fed properly because the paper feed roller slips. Cleaning the paper feed roller could resolve the paper feeding problem. Please follow the instructions below to clean the Paper Feed Rollers directly from the unit. Caution: Since the cleaning process wears down the paper feed roller, perform this procedure only when necessary.

  2. Use the <Feed Switch> button to select the paper source where you do the paper feed roller cleaning. Click for here additional information.

SOURCE: canon ip 2600 printer. Paper does not feed

Hey I had the same problem. Called the company; we couldn't fix it. Well I turned it upside down and a 2" flower stem fell out from when I cut some flowers next to my desk. It still didn't work. I was examining the feed area while it was running and I found another little piece of stem that was lodged way in there. I had to get it out with tweasers and it turned out to be 1" long. Couldn't really see it at all. Works fine now.

Paper will not feed through. The roll bar that normally grabs the paper will not move any quick fixes for this.

If you can get to the rollers, get some fine grit sand paper and rough up the surface a little (Make sure you do it even around the roller, and on all rollers).

I had a similar problem on an old Xerox multifunction fax / printer and it worked fine.

Good Luck

Paper feed or pick up problems

The rubber paper rollers on your printer that picks-up paper may have wiered out. So try replacing them. This may occur when the rubber rollers get dirty also. In that case just cleaning them with a wet cloth will do the solution (no water drop should fall on the printer assembly).
