Bosch dishwasher error code h04

I have a Bosch silent plus 50 dba that's only 2 years old. My grandbaby had a great time punching all the buttons. When she left the indicator light said h: 04. Of course I can't find what I've done with the manual. The start button on the far right says reset under it and 3 seconds. Of course that didn't work. I tried the on-off button and holding it down for 10 seconds and that didn't do it. The last attempt was holding down the on/off button and the start button both for 3 seconds and then when I turned the machine back on the code was clear, but she had it stuck in light wash mode. And of course I wasn't doing a light wash. I reset it a few more times by using the start and reset button at the same time for 3 seconds and finally the code cleared and it went back to regular wash. I'm not going to complain about the confusion because it's my own fault for losing the manual but aside from that this is the best dishwasher I've ever owned.
