It sounds like your battery is dead and it requires to be charged, so plug in the adapter and plug it into your Netbook and allow it to charge.

The rechargeable battery probably needs to be replaced, if the battery is 1 to 3 years old have it checked. Go to www.ebay.com Type: make and model of laptop, refine search to battery.

ACER default password for Bios

Hi,

By default Acer wont enter any BIOS password however, if you have forgot BIOS password then you have to reset CMOS jumper setting. Please follow the below steps: Open the Laptop back panel. Locate the CMOS battrey, remove it & then with the help of a screw driver keep on pressing the terminal inside it and turn ON the computer for 10 secs and Turn Off (make sure you keep on pressing the terminal with a screwdriver while turning ON). It will short the BIOS setting. Now, fix the CMOS battrey & restart the computer. This will take care of the issue.

No power to my advent 5431 but battrey charging

You possibly have circuirtry issues with your laptop or wiring. Even though the power is flowing to the LCD light which shows the power is on or charging, the wire connecting the power to the motherboard could be loose or the circuitry is bad.

Unless you are an IT professional, I would not recommend opening your laptop as that could void any warranty you have with your manufacturer. My recommendations is to take your computer to a computer repair store or call your manufacturer if you have a warranty to have this problem fixed/resolved.

Hi I have an advent 7104, has been working fine until yesterday. now it wont turn on and there is a flashing red light, also when you plug charger in it wont show charging light, (with or without battery)...

Sound like the cells in your battery are completely done. I would invest in a new battery first. Good Luck..

Altinator dose not charge when battry is low

time for another battery. Have a load test done on battery. Then have someone fullfield the alternator to see if its operating correctly

key off and out,diconnect negitive side of battrey then postive.clean terimals,charge battrey,connect postive cable (with key off)connect negitive.and start.
your dead battrey is taking up a big load on system,so when you boost it the dead battrey is taking it all the starter is geeting vey little.thats the clicking.
if you dont have a charger dicconect both terminals the same way again,put the jumper cables on the dead battrey.let it charge battrey for 10 15 mins .the longer the better.remover jumpers.
with key off and out conected battrey terminals.connect jumper cables and start.
let me know if it start or not hopefully the key hasnt lost its coding.
