Hello friend, thanks for your inquiry!

Based off the information you provided if your refrigerator is displaying an "E3" error code you could be seeing a problem within the main control board or thermistor. I would suggest a reset to your appliance, this can clear any false codes, and you can do this by unplugging your appliance for roughly ten minutes. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

SOURCE: Items sometimes freeze on refrigerator side of unit - model GSS25LGMA

It is most likely a bad damper motor.  This is where the cool air comes out into the fridge section.  On this model it is a fairly common problem and comes a whole assembly.  The part # is WR49X10091 and will cost anywhere from $100 to $122.  Knowing this model I would bet this is your problem.  If the damper is bad and stuck open cold air will just keep blowing in.  It is suppose to open and close based on the temp setting.  Let me know if you have any other questions.

SOURCE: Kenmore refrigerator model 46-66812 ice build up on the bottom shelf of freezer

Had the same problem. I noticed that the fan in the freezer never shut off so I suspected the thermostat. I ordered and installed a new thermostat (about $30 and 15 minutes to install), the fan now cycles correctly and the ice build up is gone.

I'm getting the error code 1F and it keeps coming back. The water line to the icemaker is disconnected and has been. How can i keep it from coming back?

The error code 1F on an LG refrigerator indicates a problem with the ice maker fan. The most common cause of this error code is frost or ice buildup around the fan. If you have disconnected the water line to the ice maker, then the most likely cause of the error code is frost or ice buildup. To fix the error code 1F, you will need to defrost the ice maker fan. This can be done by following these steps: Unplug the refrigerator or turn off the circuit breaker that powers the refrigerator. Remove all food and drawers from the freezer compartment. Open the freezer door and allow the ice to melt. Once the ice has melted, use a hair dryer or heat gun to melt any remaining frost or ice around the ice maker fan. Wipe away any moisture with a clean cloth. Reassemble the freezer compartment and plug in the refrigerator or turn on the circuit breaker. If the error code 1F persists after defrosting the ice maker fan, then there may be a problem with the ice maker fan motor or the control board. In this case, it is best to contact a qualified technician for assistance. Here are some tips to prevent the error code 1F from coming back: Keep the freezer door closed as much as possible to minimize air circulation. Defrost the refrigerator regularly, even if the ice maker is not in use. Clean the ice maker coils regularly to prevent frost buildup. If you live in an area with hard water, consider using a water softener to reduce the amount of minerals in the water that can contribute to frost buildup. By following these tips, you can help to prevent the error code 1F from coming back and keep your refrigerator ice maker working properly.

What does Er 1F mean of the control panel?

I believe the 1F error indicates a problem with the ice maker. This could be an issue with the ice maker fan icing up, the fan motor failing or the PCB board that controls the fan. First try unplugging the power to the refrigerator for 8 hours. This may reset the error code. Next check if the fan is spinning freely. If the fan has iced up, then the motor could fail from the attempt to spin the fan.

If you add a comment with the full model number, I may be able to give you the parts information. (Look inside the refrigerator for the model number; there is usually a plaque with that data on the side of the fridge.) If your refrigerator is under warranty, contact Kenmore.

I hope this helps.

Cindy Wells
(If you turn off the ice maker after resetting the code, you probably won't see the error again.)

Ice e3 code

Hello friend, thank you for your post!

I understand that your Electrolux refrigerator is showing an "E3" error code. However, it appears "E3" is an invalid error code. May I have you model number please? Typically you can locate your serial tag (which lists your model number) on the inside cabinet of the fresh food compartment on the right hand side. With this information I can better assist you with pinpointing the issue. I look for forward to assisting you. -Matt

Freezer temp displays 1 C E refig temp t 3

Hello p_shields123 - Could the actual error code display be "ICE T3"? If so, it typically indicates that the TH3 thermistor in the Fresh Food Ice Maker compartment is shorted or open. Regrettably, this is not a simple DIY job. I would strongly recommend connecting with a professional to move forward accurately and to properly assist with the repairs.

Fridgidaire refrigerator flashing error code 4

From what I remember a flashing 4 means "damper error". Send your model number found inside or on the outside of the fresh food section, The air damper is found between the freezer and fresh food section and regulates temperature in the fresh food section by opening wide for things that warm up your fresh food section example would be opening the door and letting warm air inside . The damper then closes to keep the right temperature. If you have questions please ask, Thanks Sea Breeze
