Get hold of a flexi brush , you know the kind of thing you use to dust down the back of radiators
Take out the soap drawer and insert the brush down the feed tubes one at a time
The brush should have a clear passage into the drum
If you hit an obstruction which the brush cannot dislodge then the top has to come off the washer and the hoses will need to be removed for cleaning
The black hose is the one which feeds the powder into the machine.
Sorry but I did not take in what you had written
The washer does not leak when it first fills but leaks when it rinses or spins? .
The same inlet is used for filling and rinsing so in theory it should leak when it first fills if there is an infeed problem .
I would still check that black hose first because if it is holding water back from the drum when the machine goes into spin the air pressure in the drum will force the water back up the pipe.
Second one, as the machine fills higher on a full wash is the water going further up the door than it used to and is it draining down fully.
The timing on the machine is governed by a pressure switch which is linked with a bit of plastic or rubber tubing to a plastic bottle called the Air Bell, if there is jellified soap in the Air Bell that will fool the machine into starting to spin with too much water left it it the result will be that the water is forced out of the drum by centrifugal force and back out of the vents and dispenser drawer.
The pressure switch looks like a little flying saucer and the Air Bell is at the bottom of the drum
Great piece of advice - many thanks. My washer has been leaking out of the drawer for ages and having checked the rubber hose and removing the 'flying saucer' I found a mass of old washing tablets nets, two pennies and various other bits of cloth etc inside it. Once removed the washer is like new again !! Thank goodness for the internet !!
I have the same problem...where will I find the black hose and the flying saucer?? is it at the top of hte machine or the bottom..woudl love to be able to do a proper wash again :-) Thanks

Hi
Sorry if this sounds a bit stupid but which feed tubes are you referring to? The one which connects the botton of the drawer to the drum?
Which hoses would need to be removed?
Many thanks for your response. Much appreciated.
