This might be of help. I had a quick browse through it, but couldn't find reset to factory defaults in the contents. I'm sure it will have what you're looking for, though. Good luck.

SOURCE: i want to reset this casio se s300...how can i do?

Reset what? If you mean the daily report, then turn the key to Z mode and press cash. If you are talking about removing programming, it is best to edit the existing programming so you don't lose system settings. If you need a manual, there is one here http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_SE-S300_users_and_programming_manual.html

SOURCE: plz solve my problem casio

If the register is new, this is normal, it just needs programming. Otherwise, it may have had a lock up.
Try this: Turn key to PROGRAM mode. Turn power off at wall. Hold RECEIPT FEED down (may just be called FEED) - keep your finger on it. Turn power on at wall. Wait 5 seconds, then let go of RECEIPT FEED. You should see "FFFFFFFFFF" on display. Press SUBTOTAL. Wait for print out. Turn key back to REG mode and try it.

I have a SE-5300 Casio cash register and I want to reset everything.

I think you mean an SE-S300. If so, pull a battery out. Turn key to REG mode. Turn off at wall, then back on. Put battery in. Be aware that this will lose all programming and sales data. You will need to re-program from scratch.

I am trying to clear a SE-S300 Casio Till of all prior transactions, clerk numbers etc to enable a complete new programming proceedure. I have turned the PGM key to the "off" position, held down...

Are you sure you understand the full programming including machine features setting, memory number programming, department, PLU programming? You will have much more work if you decide to RAM clear the machine. It is better to just edit the existing programming if you want to save time. The only thing that bugs people is the grand total and that can usually be turned off anyway. See what you think
