The original wheel was not bundled with any drivers or software. The only way to install it is to manually configure it as a four button steering wheel in the control panel in Windows. Here are instructions for Windows XP. They may be slightly different in 7.Control Panel -> Gaming Options -> add -> custom -> 4 button, 2 axis Race Car Controller
Assuming you are using Windows XP, its in Control Panel.. Look for it by clicking START -> Control Panel -> Game Controllers. The detected device is listed. Click on the device and click on Properties to configure the settings. Good luck!
You need to load the disk that came with the switch panel. Look in the directory where it installs and you will see a file in there that forces the program to load. Note: It is not the main exe file.
You cannot talk to the tower in FSX, only via third part software and then the button you wish to use would be configured within that software (such as Live ATC),
Hi there, go into control panel. When in control panel, click switch to classic view. Then click on game controllers and you will have settings for your game controller.
exit present flight to general menue, minimize so you can access the "start" button then go to programms/saitek and select "lauch the Flight Sim 2004 plugin". All will work well.....exect the trim wheel acts in reverse!!
Remove the X52 and drivers from your system. You have to install them in a certain order, so look in the documentation for the correct way to install and you will be okay. Good luck
