Hi,

You may want to double-check if the wireless adapter on your laptop is enabled. If it is enabled, try to view the available wireless networks on your wireless connection and select the name of your wireless network. You may also want to check your wireless router if there is a wireless security enabled. It is important that you know the wireless settings on your wireless router to make sure that the wireless adapater settings on your laptop match the settings on the wireless router.

Have you had a look on the firewall website for a suitable firewall system that compliments windows 7?
I had to download a new one myself when I went from Windows XP to Windows Vista.

Sometimes changing systems means you should also change your firewall, then you'll have the most up-to-date software going. Plus it won't slow your computer down like it doesn't sometimes.
Hope I helped Dr Reed

Windows Vista Internet Connection problem

Are you on the wireless internet or on the internet through a cat5 cable? If on through the wireless I think its a wouter issue. try upgrading the firmware of your router first. If that doesn't work try using a different router. Also try upgrading your drivers on your computer for however you are connecting to the internet. Either your network card or your wireless card via device manager. One of those solutions should solve the problem.
