If it has never been opened for service the charge is intact. If the evaporator is not defrosting it won't cool properly. If the compressor is old it won't cool properly. If the thermostat is defective, again it cools improperly.

I have a True GDM10 i recharged it is cooling but the Compressor is very hot. Any tips why?

Its very important that you weigh the charge carefully. You need a scale that measures in ounces. The system first needs to be evacuated to get the system to hold an accurate charge. The spec. tag will give you the factory charge. If you've done these things already and its cooling properly rest assured the proper cooling vapor is getting back to the compressor where it counts and the dome temperature is as it should be and really not that important. Hope this helps and good luck.

Bike starts and runs but when it warms up (running for about 20 30 minutes) it won't start back up until it cools down...and it's not running hot...can you please assist me

Overheating. The raditor coolant or the cooling fan is'nt working corectly the engine should be as hot as it's going to get in 5 minutes then the therostae opens to start keeping it at the same temperture if the coolant or the fan can't keepit at this temperture it'll not restsate till it's cool enough to be in the safe range agin. Some times not changind the oil often enough can case this problem too low coolant and the fan not working all can cause this after finding the coolant system problem and fixing it change the oil as it'll be ruiened from the overheat. Low speed hotrodding and stop and go traffic can trash the oil and just a few hot runs acan make it need and oil change as the oil fails at high tempertures and the oil is an important part of the cooling system as it's cooler beng clean and in the air flow. As the oil cooler doesn't have the benifit of a fan sitting running and hotrodding at low speeds will heat and kill the oil then after the oils killed then it'll overheat case the oils bad.

Hi i have a coldmatic walk in freezzer it did not frozen anything. can itt be the controler for the temperture be broken. it run but i did not go down to the freezing temperture. what can i do?

It will not cool if its not running, if it runs all the time and is not freezing then the charge could be low. If it not running and thus not cooling then the cold control could be the problem, but there are usually other controls that are there to protect the system, such as low and high pressure switches, low ref. would open it and a dirty cond. coil would open the high pressure switch, and then both the indoor and outdoor fans need to be running, the indoor fan will run 24/7 unless its defrosting. Hope this helps

My 2007 Chevy HHR 2.2L, coolant temp sensor is reading that the coolant temp is 20 degrees warmer than the outside temp after sitting for over 12 hours and the operating temp gets to 214 degrees without...

Sure the engine coolant will be warmer than the outside temperture and if the car has been sitting a long time in cold weather and the outside temperture warms up it could be the other way around. The coolant temperture sensers aren't real accurate as they are a relaitive senser beween hot and cold and the numbers reported don't have to be real just the change from hot to cold and the reching of the coolant to the operating temperture. Noe it the senser doesn't read the opertating temperture coprrectly you'll have all kinds of problems. The therostaste will try to set the temperture of the water to it's set temperture and can open or close completly to get 195 degrees F. Many times if it's too cold then the stat is bad and needs to be replaced This shows up in alot of cars first thing after winter and the first onset of cold weather when the daily tempertures vary the most from day to night.

TOW FANS AGAINST THE RADIATOR, TOYOTA CAMRY 2001 4 CYL

yes, they are both radiator fan. dependent on the temperture of the outside air and the cooling temperure on control panel. the fan will kick on when the temperture cross over the preset- set on the computer. so, either fan on, no fan, fan is runing when the car is runing or not, is not a porblem.
the porblem occures when the fan stops, and the temperture is over 100 degree outside.
