It sounds like you have DVD drive issues. You did not say how old your machine was, or how long it's been since you bought it. Microsoft is being nice these days and will fix it for free if it's not old. So the best thing to do before you do anything is give thenm a call 1 800 4-MY- XBOX and see if they can help you. If not, then I can tell you that repairing this system is not easy and I definitely would not recommend you open it and try to fix it yourself.
