I cannot recieve ringtones i have purchased even though my handset is GPRS/WAP enabled
I have purchased ringtones (truetones) from 2 seperate websites well known in Australia but for some reason my phone does not even get an error message sent to it . i get absolutely nothing but i have checked more times than i can remember with my service provider and they say everything is set up the right way , i can connect to the internet and browse using the same phone i can send and recieve MMS & SMS with no problems but i just cant get the ringtones to even come in , could this be something not set up correctly on the phone itself ? i'm going crazy trying to work it out because my service provider say that if i can connect to the internet using the phone then there should be no problem getting the initial ringtone message. PLEASE HELP
i am using a pre-paid phone/service yes and have plenty of credit available to use , i still haven't recieved the ringtone that they have resent to my phone so i am still not sure if it might be just one simple thing not right on my phone ...thank you for your time redsfan10i am using a pre-paid phone/service yes and have plenty of credit available to use , i still haven't recieved the ringtone that they have resent to my phone so i am still not sure if it might be just one simple thing not right on my phone ...thank you for your time redsfan10

Re: I cannot recieve ringtones i have purchased even...
I think you phone is fine.maybe that company (place you buy a tones not recieve you purchased)you credit have been cut or not?if you credit have been cut maybe that company just want make money.if you make other tones purchased after what happen to you,and you get that tones.there no problem with you phone.

UK WAP gateway settings The following table shows basic WAP gateway setup information for the main UK mobile phone operators. The menu options differ between handset manufacturers. Some of the common menu fields explained:Bearer type: There are two types: GSM or GPRS. GSM works by dialling a dedicated WAP dial-up number and should work on any WAP-enabled handset. GPRS is a newer technology, and only works on selected handsets. GPRS is an always-on service that is billed per-kilobyte, and not as GSM, which is billed per-minute.Dial-up number - The telephone number that your WAP browser needs to dial to connect. (Not required for GPRS)
GPRS APN - If connecting over GPRS (as opposed to dial-up), you need an Access Point Node address, so the network knows where to direct your request. See our GPRS for full UK GPRS settings
Username and password - Note that these are case sensitive, and should be typed in as shown
Gateway IP details - WAP works by routing traffic through a Gateway that handles optimising the content efficiently. The address is made up of a series numbers separated by dots. This may also be referred to as the WAP Proxy Server address.
