Presuming that you are asking how to set codes for the Desa International door chime, here's a solution:

There are two components of the Desa door chime --- the ringer assembly and the door button. Inside each component is a set of eight pairs of pins and several square-ish plastic jumpers. To set a code, you must push jumpers onto the pair of pins for each of three different numbers. (You may find that you have more than three jumpers. If so, the others are spares which you can tell because they will only be covering one of the two pins in a pair.) Whatever three numbers you choose, the ringer and button must match exactly. 5-6-7 seems to be the default set-up as delivered from the factory. This is only a problem if anyone else in the neighborhood also has a Desa chime with this setting. If you use pin 8, the ring changes from a two-tone chime to a 16-note sequence.

Good luck!

Disable seatbelt chimes, will not go off, since driver door been replaced.

Sounds like the door switch is not switching or not connected. Sometimes the switch is external in the door jamb/closing area, sometimes it is part of the door catch. Maybe check if the door light on the dash stays on, also if the interior light works on door setting.

Will my wireless bell push work with another manufacturers door chimes?

Doubtful they are compatible. If they are set by dip switches and you set them the same bot doesn't work-not compatible.

I think i have a vista keypad. I dont have a manual that shows the keypad features. I like for the doors to chime when opened. They stopped chiming for some reason. can this be reset.

On a vista system, enter your 4 digit code and press the 9 button. The keypad should read: Disarmed Chime. The keypad should ding ding ding when a door is opened. To turn the chime off, enter you code and press the 9 button again.

Hello I have now got 2 (two) of these units over the past 8 months and neither work----changed batteries--interchanged push button---changed main unit--nothing works----but when my neigbour across road has...

The doorbell buttons and your receiver must be on the same channel. If you will get out the directions that came with your unit, they will describe the process to go through to reset the specific "codes" for your buttons and receiver.

The 3 dip switches set the different chime sounds. The 4 jumpers set the code....you will need to change the jumpers on the back of the receiver to match as well

Door chime code for GE model 1601S &1602S

Hi there. I think I have the same GE chime. It has a series of 4 dip switches on the bell (base) and also in the switch unit. Just make them the same. On mine for example, switch # 1,2 & 4 are up (on) and #3 is down (off). Any combination of 16 codes should work as long as both units are the same. Just as an aside, I had a problem with mine working intermittently, then mostly not at all. It was the actual pushbutton switch inside the button unit. Luckily, I replaced the micro-switch and it's working again. Also during cold wet weather, the 12v battery gets depleted faster than normal probably due to moisture inside the switch unit. I taped a piece of plastic from a sandwich bag over the switch unit to help keep water out.
I hope this helps.....
