Question about D-Link Computers & Internet
The only internet i can get where I live is wireless through a mifi device. I bought a baby monitor with the option to view it on my iphone but the little gateway it came with is wired and I have no place to plug it in. Was hoping I could somehow set up my router on my mifi so I could plug it in to the system.
The WBR-2310 router has FOUR 'LAN' ports.
Plug the baby-monitor into one of those ports.

you have to change your channelk type in your wi fi router.
For that access your router with following link
if you have belkin router
type user name as "admin" and password is "admin" or blank or "password"
then go to wi fi ->advanced setup chang channel type 4 ,6 ,11
change chanel type 1 by 1 and check signal strength.
everyt time save settings and restart both computer and router after save settings.
Thanks for using fixya.
Please rate this solution if it helps.

connect your computer to the router by an ethernet cable. Open Internet explorer or FIREFOX. Type the roiuter's default IP-address (if not known: its either 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.0 or 192.168.1.0... keep trying until you're answered and asked for the password to enter the router (either attached on the router, in the manual or try: user: admin password: admin or password: password. Whgen you're in you'll find many checkboxes you could fill oput or notr; Easyway: give your net a name (SSID), then choose the network access security (set it to wpa-psk), choose a password and enable DHCP (then the router does the rest). Disconnect, look if the computer sjhows reception of your netwoirk by displaying its name. then connect. You will be asked for the password you chose. Done.
