Krups XS 9000 stuck on descaling. It was sitting on the rinsing part for 2 hours and I had to turn of the machine. It turns on time and turns off on time. It recognize when the dripping tray or water container is out. It recognize when steaming nozzle is down but it stuck on message "Filling is in process" and after awhile "push hot water button" and "put a container under..." How can I trick the machine to make coffee again? Thank you!
SOURCE: No Steam
Unit sounds like the steam valve and orings have failed.
This causes no steam and internal leakage.

Hello, I had the same problem, therefore the machine has gone to a repair centre. The problem is caused by a mechanical switch in the machine, that doesn't work properly. To repair it you've to open the machine completely, but that’s not easy. Because there is nothing broken you’ll should have warranty because it is a production failure. The solution in my case was to heat up the switch and push it a little together so that the contact works properly. It is the switch that you hear when you turn on the machine.

take out the mecanism and clean it how is instructed in manual, than get it back carefuly. Pay attention on position of mecanizm.

I KEEP having this problem... everything is in place, but no espresso. Nothing comes out the brew head. I have found multiple fixers for it. One: make sure you have water in the tank and that the tank is firmly pressed down (this was the most embarrassing of the mistakes I made), Two: try a slightly courser grind of espresso. On my Black & Decker burr mill, I have it on the 3 (of 12) to finest settings. Tamper only a little bit... not too hard. Three: when the flow is just not happening, try running some steam through the nozzle to see if you can get things moving along. Once I ran the steam through... it sputtered and coughed for a few seconds then steamed normally, then cooled it back down and the espresso came out fine. This was the most recent fix.

Maybe your electric hot water valve that let the water out of the stream wand is blocked. Remove the top and right hand sides covers and you would notice a sliver color metal valve mounted on a white plastic frame. Remove it out of the unit and clean the clear tubing fittings. At least on my unit, the nozzle inside the fittings is blocked with green deposit.
