those units have had problems with the siganl board and dm module both having solder connection problems and require to be sent out to a rebuilder that can handle that special work you might call samsung consumer and see if its uner and class actions or recalls
other wise it will be a local servicer to assist you further with its problems

how extended is that warranty, and what does it cover? Sounds to me like a classic video controller board about to fail.

Drop the resolution within the ps3 try 720p.

This is normally only one of two things : Cable or Mainboard

The W5000 is quite a new Projector and should still be under warranty.

But try changing the cabling first and if the problem still persists , let BenQ replace the Mainboard.

There is a component failure on the board inside the display. Since you did not post the model number that is all that I can tell you.

I had a similar problem on a different monitor and fixed the green sparkles by selecting a lower refresh rate.

The set is under a year old and is under warranty. The LVDS cable inside these sets have a history of coming loose. The problem could be the panel. Either way, the set is the problem and needs to be looked at. This set is worked on in the home and does not need to be taken to a shop, so, you can still use it. It looks like you started out with an intermittent solder connection which may have been fairly easy to find early on. Now, unless a technican can make it come and go while tapping on the circuit board and repair the connection, it may be a very expensive shop repair.
