My 20 year old electric Jenn Air range recently flashed the F7 error code and beeped repeatedly. I shut off the circuit breaker until it cooled. The next day I turned it on and everything seemed fine. We baked a pizza and the erro repeated when the oven was shut off. I opened the front panel and noticed the wire ribbon connecting the front panel to the display was slightly askew. How that happened is beyond me. I pulled out the ribbon hold down clips, pushed the ribbon in all the way, and replaced the hold down clips. The range is now working properly after replacing nothing. The cheapest fix possible.

Many ovens have a bi-metal thermal fuse-also called a thermal limit switch-that protects the oven from overheating. The oven thermal fuse trips when the temperature in the oven gets too hot. After the thermal fuse trips, the oven won't heat. If the thermal fuse trips after the self-cleaning cycle, try resetting the fuse by turning off electricity to the oven, removing the exterior back panel, and pushing the reset button. If the fuse tripped during normal operation, replace it. If the problem persists, the electronic oven control board might require replacement. Reset the thermal fuse after replacing the control board.
YES IN FACT THE FRONT PANEL DOES COME OFF,, JUST THE DISPLAY BOARD THOUGHT, that is where you can get to the switches,,, but sorry to tell you i cant even get the part i have 7 places i can get parts and all of them say it is discontinued,, thats not saying you cant find one it is just going to be a long and hard processe
there are no fuses on the unit it self -- the stove is protected by the circuit breaker at your main fuse box. if your front plate is not heating up I would say that you need a new heating element.

Hi Chaps, I have an 18 month old Electrolux Gas oven
model No: EOG7330XN which worked for 14 days then died. There was no power
displaying and I called Electrolux to service within the warranty period. The engineer removed the front control panel and replaced a fuse
inside which brought it back to life. Am I right this is possible, I have removed the panel but can't see any fuses?
Sorry. Your electronic oven control (clock) is bad and must be replaced.
Before you do that you might try opening the control panel.
Unplug the range from power.
Unplug the connections to the control wait 30 seconds and re-attach.
If that does not work.
EOC time.
