Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

Razor alarm clock

When I go into tools to set the alarm, it shows (New Alarm) but when you push options, it just goes to New in the left corner and when you hit select it just goes back to (new alarm)

When I am trying to set my alarm clock on my motorola Razor, I go to "Tools", and "Alarm Clock". Once in that menu, it says "Alarm Clock" (at the top of the screen) and it reads [New Alarm]. If I press the menu key, I get no response. When I press "Options", it then goes to "Alarm Clock Menu" (at the top of the screen) and reads "New". Now I have the options of "Select" and "Back". If I press "Select" it reverts me back to the "Alarm Clock" with [New Alarm]. If I press "Back", it brings me back to the same screen as well. If I press the "Menu" key while in the "Alarm Clock Menu" screen it reverts me back to the "Alarm Clock" screen with "New". I'm stuck and don't know what to do. Also, I can't get any sleep, because I'm afraid I won't wake up.

Once you open alarm, select "set" for alarm 1, go to the time and change it to what ever time and click "set" again. After shut phone. I thought it was wierd that it did not confirm but It works. Let me know how it goes.

How to set an alarm on a Samsung T255G Phone?

Hi there!

You can set an alarm to alert you once, or daily at a specified time. Once set, the alarms are easy to change or turn off completely.

1. In Idle mode, press Menu > Tools > Alarms. The following options appear in the display:

• Wake-up Alarm
• Alarm 1
• Alarm 2
• Alarm 3
• Alarm 4

2. Select an Alarm. The alarm screen appears in the display containing the following options: the alarm name, the on/off setting, the time, AM/PM, alert type, alarm tone options, the alarm volume setting, days if the week to sound, snooze option and auto power on/off setting.

3. Highlight the options you wish to change, then select values for the options using the Left and Right navigation keys.

4. When you're finished entering and selecting values for the alarm, press ok. The alarm is set and the alarm icon appears in the top of the display.

Hope this helps

Setting alarm

Alarm can only be set or disabled when the power in "Standby" mode. The manual refers to it as power "off" mode, but the LCD display will still be readable only darker. To set the alarm push the Standby button until the sound stops and the LCD is dark. Then push the AL SET button (which doubles as the volume down button when the power is "on"). The hour should start flashing. Adjust the hour by using the two buttons at the bottom on the right side just above the IR sensor. Once you've set the hour, push the AL SET button again and similarly adjust the minutes until you have the right time that you want the alarm to go off. Now push the AL SOURCE button (which also doubles as the function button when the power is "on") to toggle between Radio, CD, iPod or buzzer for your alarm. After you're satisfied that the time is right and the source is right push the AL SET button again. The LCD should still be dark, but should also show the word "ALARM" in the upper left hand corner.
To set the unit so the alarm doesn't go off push the "Standby" button until the sound stops and the LCD is dark. Push the AL SET button until the hour is flashing. Don't bother to adjust the time, just push the AL SOURCE button until none of the following appear: CD, iPod, Radio, Buzzer. As you push the AL SOURCE button it will toggle between these options. Once you're sure none of them appear on the left of the display, click the AL SET button again. The LCD should still be dark, and you should not see the word "ALARM" in the upper left hand corner.

Do not know how to turn alarm off on casio g shock watch

I had the same nagging problem on my GSHOCK 2816. The Casio manual was no help at all. What I did to turn my alarm(s)  (mine has 5 independant alarms) off is switch to alarm mode (as you are looking at the face of the watch, it's the bottom left button. I push it twice to get to alarm mode. My display shows the current alarm time, and then the number 1. If you hit the top right button on the watch, it turns this alarm off. If you hit the bottom right button, it cycles to the next alarm in the list. To set an alarm, just cycle to the one you want, and then hold the top-left button until you see it flashing, then use the right side buttons to adjust the time. Hope that helps. This was a big pain in the **** until I figured it out.
