Why won't nokia 5800 turn on after software update

This is up to your network operator. Your Nokia 5800 has a firmware version and product code that will indicate its a T Mobile phone

Once they have approved v31 then that upgrade will be available to you.

You can try to hack and change the product code - but that invalidates any warranties etc etc
